This year’s fair will highlight artists using graphic arts techniques to produce original art from letter and proof press’ to lithographic prints by Carolyn Muskat, and etching by Andy Volpe and others. Anna Hogan, Mark Fowler and Lance Hidy prints and posters will be available for purchase.
A large community print created by local artists who cut graphic arts themed linoleum blocks will be created on site during the Fair. More information below for those who want to participate.
The Linotype can set your name on a Linotype slug. Children of all ages can set their name in wood type and print it. Graphic themed exhibitors will be selling their art and printing related items.
The Summer Type (and all things letterpress) Sale will be held in the upstairs store at the same time.

Call for Artists Community Art Project The Community Art Project is a continuation of the Museum of Printing’s annual graphic arts themed poster. Artists are being asked to cut a 6x6 linoleum block on any graphic arts theme of their choosing. In the past we have done Alphabet Posters printed by steamroller.
This year we are switching it up. Artists not only will cut their linoleum on a graphic arts topic of their choice but can print it at the Printing Arts Fair June 21 and take away their own copy.
Individual prints will be pasted onto a larger sheet as printed, then scanned after the fair to create large print.
Linoleum blocks may be picked up at the Museum of Printing for $2 at the museum, 800 Massachusetts Ave., North Andover between 10 am and 4 pm Saturdays.
