Hey,

I am starting to dig into the job of wiring everything up, and it occurs to me that
if I want to run accessories without engaging the main contactor (and controller),
that I will need to give the DC/DC converter its own contactor that engages when
the key is in the ACC position. I'm not using an accessory battery.

Does this sound reasonable, and is it commonly done that way?

Thanks,

McB

Yes, this is what I've done. I have a DC relay that hooks up the pack
voltage to the DC/DC converter whenever there is a) no AC power and b)
when there is keyed +12.

Cheers,
Peter
