Hi Dave,
I couldn’t get it running on my Mac either. Azure sent me the mac version in early 2008 - that might help guess at MacOS/Java builds that would work if you want to recreate the right mix.
Before my Azure motor broke, I ended up giving up on the Mac version and running ccShell on XP in VirtualBox on top of linux installed on a Mac Mini (trust me, it made sense at the time). Not the most elegant solution, but it worked.
Now that I am using the Curtis controller, I have gotten rid of the XP. I’ve written a simple Python program that reads data from the Manzanita BMS and broadcasts it via websockets where it gets graphed in JavaScript in a web page. At the moment, I just use it for monitoring the batteries from my living room while they are charging. When work gets less crazy, I will get it running on a small display on the dashboard to I can monitor them while I am driving. If anyone would like to see the (really, really, really hacked) code, I would be glad to share. I am trying to teach myself both Python and JavaScript with this project, so not the prettiest of programming.
Glad you are getting close enough to want to talk to your controller, Dave. Good luck with it.
Randy
