Dear Readers,

This is Joyce Frommer, Arnie's spouse, writing to let you all know that his surgery went well (discectomy, spine, cervical, anterior approach with fusion--if you really want the details).

The procedure was performed, same day, at St. Barnabas in Livingston NJ, so he's been home resting and taking meds since about 3 pm yesterday.

He has a cervical collar to wear for about 2 weeks and of course some physical restrictions.

But everything is as expected.

Arnie looks forward to filling your inboxes daily in a few weeks.
