SPAM plague!

Hi all (you few) members of this Group:

90mm Medieval Gaming is getting daily SPAM from China or some-such
Asian source (I wouldn't know one alphabetical character from
another). Anyway, several times per day - going on a month now - I
have to get in here and moderate messages from first-time "members".
The last legit member to join was BTWilliams; I have had to ban dozens
since then.

I hate the Internet! Crap like this, along with the plague of fatuous,
infantile, gross, degenerate content (that outweighs the good several-
many times over) simply makes me weary. I'm just letting you know
where I am at this point. If-when the job of Moderator becomes so
annoying that I won't do it anymore, I'll ask someone to volunteer to
take over management of this Group: and if I don't get any takers,
I'll close it down. If the SPAM PLAGUE goes away, I won't do this, but
will continue to Mod here (little enough though that involves, sans
SPAM).

Addendum: correction, it was voodooink who was the last legit member
to join, in September; BTBill was in August.

Thanks for the correction. I've been called a lot of things, but never
a Spam Bot! :-)

This is really getting old, guys. Eight messages in the last week and
ALL of them SPAM. I'll persevere for a while yet, though: just keeping
you advised....
