I've had nothing but spam to delete and report for the last several
months. I had to put the posts on screening mode, to keep the spam
from showing up on the discussions.

Unfortunately, there hasn't been any new releases to comment upon, so
maybe this explains the lack of input from members? Although with the
coming of a new year perhaps we'll soon get a preview of the new
additions to both Papo and Schleich's lines. Oh, I also noticed that
the BBI website is now up again, and they advertise the re-release of
a portion of their medieval line; unfortunately the halbardiers are
not included this time, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Do you have a BBI link? A Web search only turns up bits and pieces for
me; so far nothing on the entire medieval line.

I have been on a long dry spell regards gaming. I am back in school
(I tend to think underemployed MA student sounds better). As a newly
licensed teacher, recvd. January of this year, I discovered that I
managed to switch careers as the market for teachers in my area pretty
well collapsed. I am subbing and getting ready to start a part time
job as well.

This past weekend was the first time I have had any free time ... so I
broke out some foam board, cereal boxes, craft knife and glue and
started making some mantlets. I knocked out three this weekend and
have started another eight. I am going to try to make about double
this number for my castle siege game. I painted them with craft
paints and asked my wife to look for some templates of lions rampant
and f-de-l. I think they look pretty good for the amount of time I
have had to put into them.

Fall In has fallen out of the realm of possibility for me now. I am
hoping to maybe make it to the HAWKS game day. It is always a great
show, and is a gaming show. You can normally play in as many games as
you want. And of course the club members are incredible hosts!
