Three Musketeers and Cardinal's Guard

Hello All,

Just a quick note to advise that Happy Hen Toys has the Papo
Cardinal's Guardsmen on sale for $1.99 each. This figure is now out
of production (but the Three Musketeers are not....go figure, perhaps
they only fight amongst themselves now???).

While I prefer medievals for large battle wargaming, I decided to pick
up these guys while they were still available (and so I don't have
future regrets, like I do for some long-gone Schleich and BBIs I
missed out on). I also downloaded a set of skirmish rules called
GLOIRE by Rattrap (?) Productions. The rules look exciting with great
potentional for re-play.

I've always wanted to make a simple battle area depicting a
courtyard. I think I'll try using those white pillars that are used
for wedding cakes (the ones from the craft store). I'm having visions
of a simple skirmish ala 1970's THREE MUSKETEERS.

BTW, I'm not affiliated with Happy Hen; they're just my go-to-guys.
