I too run 90mm games at HMGS East shows.  The group is sluggish but it is a sluggish part of the hobby.  I would like to see this group move to Yahoo groups as I think they are more friendly.

That's two of you in favor of Yahoo over Google; almost 10%!

As far as I can tell, you don't "move" anything. You just start up a
new Group at Yahoo and hope that "if you build it, they will come". As
this Group is already pretty feeble, I doubt that starting over is
justified.

But YOU can always try. I'll join, if a Yahoo 90mm Medieval Gaming
Group is started up....

Btw, in case anyone lurking doesn't know/remember: "Balin", the
originator of this Group back in May 2005, made me a moderator,
because he was too busy. Now, I see, he's no longer a member of his
own 90mm Medieval Gaming Group? That is one busy guy!...

Balin???

That's one crafty guy!

Perhaps the lack of group input is the lack of new 90mm figures? With
Schleich and Papo new releases occuring annually, there really isn't
much buzz about new figures. Add to that the limitations of genre
[mostly medievals]. I've had to go "outside" the normal retailers to
support my armies, i.e. McFarlane sculpts. However, I sincerely doubt
that anyone here has much interest in a oversized elephant-man whose
scale is perfect to the soldiers on the table.

One thing that I have noticed here isn't too much discussion regarding
specific rules systems in use. I realize that some members of this
group have actually published their OWN rules sets (btw, nicely done
Chris), but no one has provided any pics of their own armies which
conform to the rules they are currently using [e.g. DBA], or how the
current availability of figures allow the build of those armies.
