This is the best DC song for acapella IMO. Love the empty space frequently in the background in between that hookline, gives a different vibe. The bass line is also sick following the same format. Like I said in the TLC post, 90's girl group songs are made for acapella. The harmonies are off the chain in the chorus and are so impressive if done well. The bridge already layers well, but I think we could either have perc drop out or add people slowly to make it more effective.

People know this, it's DC's first #1 single. This song is hook after hook both rhythmically and melodically. Combining that with the familiarity and sassiness means the audience would love it and it would be memorable.

My only concern is that people are familiar with this being done by men since fucking Glee did it -,-

The lowest alto harmony and bassline note goes down to a B flat currently, so it would need to be raised (meaning it would be too high to sing the solo at-pitch with Beyonce/Kelly, would have to be an octave down).
