For a lot of the same reasons as Blame It On Me: Bari solo, bluesy acoustic rock feel, feel-good song. Obvi we would only pick one of the two. Differences for this would be the solo is much faster-paced with it's rapid fire words in the verse and the high wails in the chorus. A more challenging solo, but also, a more interesting one. Also, there's a weird keyboard part throughout the song which differentiates it (and makes me laugh at Cassio-o-o-o-o-o sounding like the keyboard brand haha).

It's also an upbeat jam song that the audience could definitely get into a la Mumford and Sons. This one most people would not know about unless they've given him a harder glance, but the chorus is memorable enough that I don't think its obscurity would necessarily be a problem.

I can see a lot being done with harmonies here, but I don't know how the execution would go from an arranging standpoint.

I really like that breakdown at 2:09, we could do a cool tempo change there and have Todd or me conduct it. 

My only beef is percussion. This has a really distinct folk sound percussionwise, and we would need to do one of two things: 

1) Arrange the song in such a way that percussion is not necessary (e.g. "Cecilia"), or

2) Put the perc in but be aware that it may sound kind of shitty (I'm not a huge fan of vocally produced cymbal sounds in general, and a tambourine would be especially bad, and would most likely sound like a shaker, but a shitty shaker, if you will).

I think it would probably have to be rhythm mainly driven by pitch alone which I have no problem with. In fact, I think it's a good change-up to happen occasionally. It does make it a lot harder to stay in time though, something we struggle with. The very bouncy feel would help it to stay in time I think.

I really dig the lower solo. Interesting, new voicing that I don't think we've ever touched on before. I do like this song better than Blame It On Me, but I agree with Buckets comments about the percussion being an issue. I don't think it would be impossible to turn this into a Cecilia if we fill out the chords nicely and give the backing vocals a percussion-y feel. Otherwise it would be an awesome song to add to our set in general due to possibly new people singing solos that typically wouldn't.
