Submitted by Nicco:

We could do a super choral version with very ambient harmonies; it would be RnB esque, very much slower than the original. I can picture the rap part as a spoken word section, which would sound super cool. We could do some call and response stuff with the hook, possibly having the solo sing by himself and the rest of the group joining in gradually.

Trap Queen is literally Fetty Wap's only song. People know it, it was popular enough for Ed Sheeran to cover it. Plus, Ed Sheeran.

There was Trap Lord and Trap God, and now thusly Trap Queen.

I'm having a hard picturing it from your description tbh but it's a lot more interesting than the original. I can't really judge it because I don't know how it would sound.

It's probably closer to Ed Sheeran's version but slower with less percussion, but I think I want to handle this kind of silly song with a very serious demeanor. Make it Cri, if you will. We need to capture the vibe of the journey, and the moment when the "protagonist" finally finds his Trap Queen, who turns out to be everything he wants and more.

But seriously though it'll make more sense when I explain it in person, the concept is hard to verbalize without actually like...singing it.

I can get on with what Nicco is going for  - slow, cri, putting that trap queen on a pedestal sort of thing with some awesome grooving while you have someone almost wailing about their trap queen. I'm probably not painting the picture (or sound) Nicco was talking about but I like what he's going for.
