This is a mashup of the song "Cheerleader" by OMI (The original version, not the remix) and the song "Let's Do it Again" by J Boog. The original version of "Cheerleader" is much more reggae than the remix, and "Let's Do it Again" is very beachy. Both of them have a major key tonality along with similar themes lyrically. The tempos would have to be adjusted, I would rather meet in the middle than speed up or slow down one of the two songs. The J Boog sections would sound awesome because the original song has octave vocals for the verses, and they're very powerful.

People definitely know "Cheerleader," it's the pop hit of the summer. As for the J Boog song, more people know it than I thought but it brings a hip vibe to balance the pop-ness of "Cheerleader."

This could be our "Summer hit," so to speak.

First off, holy shit the original song is SOOOOO much fucking better than the radio edit. I hate that version with a passion.

Great idea Buckets. This does satisfy our reggae quotient for the year haha. Let's Do It Again is a great song and I love the hit-vibe going on during the octave vocal part you mentioned. Also, I think by starting with that and then moving to Cheerleader, it creates a through-line of a story kind of (one-night stand that leads to him wanting a relationship and then saying she's the best and a cheerleader). I think this is my favorite suggestion of your first four, but that's just me.

Love it, love everything about it (the narrative, that is)!

Phenomenal. Love the reggae kick, I think we do it really well. The transition between these songs really completes a story and the tonality is definitely on par so I'm excite about this possibility.
