I'm in need of an API key to create an app to sync playlists with Spotify and vice-versa.

Please can you assist, thanks!

I can't help you with the API key, but syncing playlists from Spotify to 8tracks directly will probably be a problem, because 8tracks has much more strict rules regarding playlist content. For example, you cannot have more than 2 (IIRC) songs by the same artist in the same playlist.
