Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Government of India is running a "Post Doctoral Course in Dialysis Medicine" of one year duration in collaboration with IGNOU. Out of one year 6 year is distance learning with some contact programme and for 6 month the candidate will be attached to a hospital for full time for practical training in all aspects of dialysis.

 

The Course has been designed by leading Nephrologists of the country and the contact classes are also taken by them.

 

Entire course fee of Rs. 50000 is paid by Govt. of India and candidate has to pay nothing. In addition Rs. 70000 per month stipend is paid to the non-sponsored candidates for 6 month of hospital posting.

 

Admission for 2013-2014 has started and last date is 30-6-2013, other details may be seen at the website of IGNOU. The brochure file is attached.

 

Elligibility: MD Medicine / MD Paediatrics

 

Those in job need to get leave for 6 months and sponsored by the organization.

Dear Dr. Anil The programme of Post Doctoral Certifcate in Dialysis Medicine (PDCDM) has been advertised on the IGNOU website (http://www.ignou.ac.in/ignou/bulletinboard/news/latest/detail/IGNOU_Admissions_Open-478).  It has also been advertised in Asian Age (Delhi edition) on 21st April 2013 and will be advertised in Virat Vaibhav on 28th April 2013. Advertisements in the Regional Centres is being given by the Regional Directors of IGNOU. Kindly send the letters to the state governments for identifying new centres for PDCDM programme and sponsoring students from the district/peripheral levels.  Please also find enclosed the brochure of PDCDM programme.
