Auditions for 'Big Band Tribute'

Draper Arts Council announces auditions for this year’s encore of its popular Big Band Tribute. This salute to the bands, singers, composers and the “spirit” of the Big Band Era will be presented August 28-29 at the Draper Amphitheater. Valaura Arnold will be the music director and Stephanie Dana is the choreographer for this production.

Vocal Auditions will be Saturday 6 June from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Draper Amphitheater.
Dance auditions will be Tuesday 9 June from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Draper Amphitheater.

Singers should come prepared with 32 measure of a Big Band tune, up-tempo or ballad. Bring sheet music. An accompanist will be provided. No a cappella, karaoke, or minus tracks. Dancers come prepared to learn a swing routine.

PLEASE NOTE: The Draper Arts Council is going paperless with a new, online audition system. Please read and follow these instructions that explain how to enroll for online auditions. To avoid headaches and delays, you will need to get online and enroll before coming to auditions.
