Draper City Public Works crews are currently assessing the areas where the debris flow occurred. There is no evidence of any structural damage to homes. The U.S. Forest Service has a soil expert on the mountainside doing testing and will submit a report by the end of the day.

Draper City has de-activated its Emergency Operation Center (EOC) at Draper City Hall, 1020 E. Pioneer Road. After 8:00 am, calls will be taken at 801-576-6500. For an emergency, call 9-1-1.

Draper City has activated its Emergency Operation Center (EOC) at Draper City Hall, 1020 E. Pioneer Road.
A significant amount of rain has fallen in the area (1" reported). Another 1/4 to 1/2" is expected. A flash flood warning has been issued.
One debris flow has been reported on Bear Ridge Cove, affecting three homes with mud and flooding in two basements and a garage. No injuries have been reported. Two homes have been evacuated at this time. Unified Fire Authority (UFA) has large debris pumps on site to pump water out of basements.
No significant debris flows or flooding has been reported in any other areas.
Unified Fire Authority is on site in the areas of Pioneer Road and Highland Drive and the Steeplechase Area, watching rain fall amounts and possible debris flows.
Draper City Public Works crews are on site with sand bags and front end loaders.
An Incident Command Center has been set up at Highland Drive and Bear Ridge Dr.
