Dear Mr.Swag

I've known most of my friends since about 4th grade, they all seemed like good kids. But recently there's this rumor that ive heard about one of the people i hang out with. People saying stuff like "He smokes weed" or "He gets wasted with his buddies" and stupid things like that i was gonna go ask him if they were true . But instead he told me straight on that they were true and all my friends were in on it. They asked me if i wanted to go smoke weed & drink with them after school. I just froze and didn't know what to say. I said i would tell them later. So should i go and be with my friends & smoke & drink or should i just stay home and ignore them? I just don't want my friends thinking im a wimp for not doing it. Please help

Sincerely: Confused Out Of My Mind

Dear Confused Out Of My Mind,

People change and tend to do stuff that they really shouldn't. You shouldn't smoke or drink just because your friends want you too. It's not good for you and you could get into some serious trouble if anyone catches you. If you don't want your friends to think that you're a wimp, then make up and excuse for not going. If they begin pressuring you into doing things that you don't want to do, then you should stop hanging out with them. Try to talk to them out of doing these kinds of thing. Tell them about how it effects you and can really damage you. This way, it helps both you and your friends.

Signed, Mr. Swag
