7th Inning - RESULTS - Key West vs. East Side

Sorry for the delay!

Game 1:  Key West looks to be cruising to an easy victory, taking an 8-1 lead after 5 innings.   East Side would score a run in the 6th, but were down 6 going into the 9th.  But a furious rally by the home team ties the game up and sends it to extras, where East Side pushes a run across in the bottom of the 10th to steal this one.

Game 2:  Key West takes another early lead, and this time pushes 4 across in the top of the 9th to make sure there would be no repeat of game 1.  

Game 3:  Key West blows out the home team 11-1 in this one.  No furious comeback.

Game 4:  East Side would attempt another furious 9th inning rally in this one, getting the tying run on base with only 1 out left, but would fall short.

Game 5:  For the first time all series, the East Siders take an early lead in this one by scoring in the bottom of the first and hold the lead for the whole game.  

Key West wins the series 3 games to 2.

I think the league should look into the egregious tactics employed by the East Side Rat Pack, their GM, Mr. Peter Dangerfield, MM Duke Robinson, Jr. and pitchers Ryan Castellani and  Frank Montas.

They were responsible for the beaning of 4 Manatees’ batters in a two game period, knocking out SS Brandon Crawford for 3 days and our most effective catcher, Anthony Bemboom, for 23 days.

Bemboom will miss the entire post-season, which will probably be shortened for the Manatees due to his loss.

We feel these disgraceful actions were no doubt in response to first baseman Luke Voit’s 4 home run series, which, as a side note, gave him a regular season total of 63.
