Hi!

I want to use the 7digital API to obtain previews of songs in an android app.

This app is not a shop, and this previews aren't for this use.

- Can i use the API (free) to obtain this previews without put any kart button near the song linked to the 7digital site?

- In case of put this button, i've read that there is any % of compensation if people buy this song linked from my app?

- Finally, if there is not a way to use the API free on my purpose whitout the kart button, how much cost the service to do this?

Hi Diego,

Any use of preview clips via our Public API needs to be associated with promoting purchase of given music. This doesn't necessarily mean you have to build a "shop"  e.g. our API is being used on music discovery sites, mp3 price comparison sites, etc

You can earn commission (currently 7%) on any sales linked to us from your app. We'd need to review and approve your app beforehand. Best to email us with description of its functionality, ideally with screenshots or mock ups to get initial feedback whether your use case would qualify - a...@7digital.com

If you'd like to use the preview clips for other purposes, e.g in a game, associated with a brand, etc (with or without a buy link) you'd need this usage cleared with the content owners (music labels) first.
