Hi,

I'm building an Android app and I have one question about the Basket
API. If a user adds tracks to a basket using my program, and later
that user buy these tracks, will I get paid for the tracks bought? Or
the only way to be paid for these tracks is using the purchase/basket
method?

Other question related:
I can see that when I get the track details, there is a 'partner' id
on the URL that is returned. Does that means that when a user buys a
track with that ID, I will get paid also?

Regards,

filip

Hi,

at the moment a basket created and populated via the API can only be
checked out via the API itself (using the premium purchase/basket
method). Without having access to this method your users wont be able
to purchase their baskets and obviously you can't earn commissions. If
you'd be interested in getting access to the premium Purchasing API
please email us directly at a...@7digital.com.

As a free API user you should link to our site for completing
purchases (of individual tracks and releases only). The URLs provided
in the API responses contain your unique affiliate tracking info (the
"partner" parameter). If users follow these links and subsequently
purchase the track (and also any additional tracks/releases within the
same visit to the site) these will be tracked under your affiliate
account and you can earn commission on these.

If you're building an Android app we recommend you to link to our
mobile site or the 7digital Android App instead of the main site -
more info on this can be found here: http://developer.7digital.net/7digitalonMobile

Thanks
Filip
