Dear Friends of the 75th and associate member,

I write you just a few words from the Ardennes to say hello and give
just a small information about George Patrica. I think he was member
of the 3rd Platoon, Company C/290th I.R. He was with the Task-Force
Brewster /3rd Arm.Div.) in Belle-Haie - south of Manhay, during the
events of December 1944 !

Sincerely,

Eddy Monfort

Dear Friends of the 75th Infantry Division,

As most of you will know, 65 years ago the 75th got it baptism of
fire. All of these brave young men came a long way to fight for our
freedom. On this time, 65 years the 75th infantry division was
fighting on "La Roumière","Bois des Hys", "Bois du Pays",... . Actions
that shall never be forgotten! I wish to thank all the members of the
289th, 290th, 291st Rgt and the 275 Cmbt Engr,899 FA Bn, 898 FA Bn,
897 FA Bn, 730 FA Bn, 575 Sig Co, HQ Co and other supporting units.

Would also express many thanks to those who are assisting me with my
research on the Battle of the Ardennes between the Aisne and Ourthe
river. Special thanks to Gilbert M. Nelson and Eddy Monfort. What
started as a small interst has become a real passion.

Wish all of you the very best, a merry Christmas and a prosperous
2010!

Dieter Laes, Belgium
