My Dad who passed away 26 yrs ago was in the 75th and sooo very proud
of it. He was in the 291st Regiment, Company "E". On his records it
says he was a searchlight operator.He enlisted 3 mos. before his 18th
Birthday.He hailed from Connecticut.
His name was James H. Wild, Jr. I don't expect anyone to remember him,
but I was wondering if someone out there was in the same Company as he
and could /would tell me and my siblings-5 of us something about what
this experience would have been like for him and any information you
think would be pertinent. Would greatly appreciate hearing from
someone from his same reg. and Co. Thank you and God Bless you for all
you did so we may have "the Good Life". Merry Christmas to you all.
