My name is Arthur J. Giustizia, nephew to Arthur A. Giustizia who was
KIA on 13 March, 1945, at Rhine River: Herewen en Aerdt, buried
Tolkamer. If anyone has any information or remembers Sgt Giustizia, I
would be so greatful to receive anything you have concerning his
service, the battle on that specific day of 13 MRCH 1945, or just knew
of him, any veterans still alive who were in my uncle's Regiment and
any other pertinent information you might have. He was a member of
the 75th Infantry Division, 291 - Company F....... My father,
Robert, age 82 is the younger brother to Sgt Giustizia and because my
grandparents (my father and Sgt Giustizia's parents) were killed in an
auto accident many many years ago, the family doesn't know too much
about the circumstances of my uncle's death, only that his body wasn't
recovered until approximately 6 months after the war ended. I am
named after him and I take great pride in having the name ARTHUR
GIUSTIZIA, named after one of America's truest heroes. I am a veteran
myself, serving in the USAF during the Viet Nam war. As I said, any
information you can provide me before my father passes, would be
greatly appreciated. I would love for my father to know the specifics
about his brother. My dad's days are short, as he is ill with cancer
and heart problems. He is the only surviving brother.

Thank you in advanced for any and all help you can give me. I am more
than willing to reimburse any of you with any expenses this request
might take.

Sincerely,

Arthur J. Giustizia

P.S. If someone can email me to let me know how to attach pictures to
posts, I would appreciate that as well.

Arthur,

Probably the best way to add photos is to click the "+Add Page"
button. Once you've done that, a window will open that looks similar
to an email page. You can write your message and place the cursor
where you want to add the image(s) on the page. Then, at the top of
the page and on the left, you'll see a little square icon that looks
somewhat like an image (if you scroll over it I think it says "upload
image"). Click on the image icon. A new window will open asking you
to browse to the image location on your computer. Find and select the
image on your computer and then click "Upload." The image should
appear on the page where you had placed the cursor. I think you can
resize the image by clicking on it and then using your mouse to adjust
the size. You can then also add a description of the image.
