OUR MILITARY HEROES

Uniformed services family members throughout
greater Houston are invited to tune in to “Our
Military Heroes”, a new local radio program that
airs each Sunday evening from 5 to 6 p.m. on
100.7 FM KKHT (“The Word”) and NewsTalk 1070 AM
KNTH. Hosted by retired Navy Captain Jim “Pappy”
Mehrmann and co-host David Maulsby of the PTSD
Foundation of America, the show is underwritten
in part by the US Family Health Plan, a
Department of Defense-sponsored healthcare plan
exclusively for military retirees, their
dependents, and active-duty family members,
including activated Reservists and National Guard.

Family members of active-duty military, and
military retirees over age 65 and their eligible
family members, pay no enrollment fees for the
care provided through the US Family Health Plan.
The enrollment fees for military retirees under
age 65 and their family members are just $460 per
family per year or $230 for one individual.
