Dear President, Vice President, and Distinguished Board Members,

It is with immense gratitude and deep appreciation that I extend my sincere thanks to you for the trust you have placed in me by conferring upon me the Professorship of Practice in Translation, Arabic Studies, and Community Scholarship, as per Certificate No. ARTA/05/2026.

This rare honor, which acknowledges the integration of academic scholarship, professional practice, and community engagement, is a distinction I deeply cherish. It serves as a powerful incentive to continue my efforts in bridging theoretical knowledge with practical application, in line with the noble mission of our esteemed association.

I wish to express my particular gratitude to President Prof. Amer AlAzem and Vice President Prof. Sahar Bataineh for their invaluable support and recognition. I also thank all members of the Executive Board of the Arab Translators Association for their professionalism, which reflects the association’s standing as a leading academic institution regionally and internationally.

I would be remiss not to acknowledge that this achievement would not have been possible without the grace of Allah, and without the support of my colleagues and students, who have been part of this journey spanning over three decades.

As the saying goes, “He who does not thank people does not thank Allah.” With this in mind, I declare my profound appreciation to you all, praying that Allah blesses your efforts, makes this recognition a source of continued service to our esteemed association, and grants us all success.

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته،

الموضوع: جزيل الشكر والعرفان على منح الأستاذية بالممارسة

أتقدم إليكم بأسمى آيات الشكر والتقدير، ممزوجة بالامتنان الذي لا يليق به إلا الدعاء لكم بظهر الغيب، وذلك على هذه الثقة الغالية التي منحتموني إياها، والمتمثلة في منحي الأستاذية بالممارسة في الترجمة والدراسات العربية والإسهام المجتمعي، بموجب الوثيقة رقم ARTA/05/2026.

إن هذا التكريم الذي يجمع بين الاعتراف بالمسيرة الأكاديمية والخبرة المهنية والعطاء المجتمعي، يعد وسامًا كبيرًا أعتز به، ويمثل حافزًا لي لمواصلة العمل الجاد في بناء الجسور بين النظرية والتطبيق، تحقيقًا للرسالة النبيلة التي تنطلق منها جمعيتنا الموقرة.

وأخص بالشكر الجزيل فخامة رئيس الجمعية الدكتور عامر العظم، وسعادة نائبة الرئيس الدكتورة سحر بطاينة، على ما أوليانيه من دعم وتقدير، كما أشكر جميع أعضاء الهيئة التنفيذية في جمعية المترجمين العرب على روح العمل المهني الراقي الذي يعكس مكانة الجمعية كصرح علمي رائد على المستويين العربي والدولي.

ولا يفوتني في هذا المقام أن أذكر أن ما وصلت إليه ما كان ليتحقق لولا فضل الله، ثم بدعم من زملائي الأعزاء وطلابي الكرام الذين كانوا جزءًا من هذه الرحلة الممتدة لأكثر من ثلاثة عقود.

ولأن "لا يشكر الله من لا يشكر الناس"، فإنني أعلن بكل اعتزاز شكري وامتناني لكم جميعًا، سائلًا المولى عز وجل أن يبارك في جهودكم، وأن يجعل هذا التكريم سببًا في مزيد من العطاء لجمعيتنا الغالية، وأن يديم علينا جميعًا التوفيق والسداد.
