Job Description Under the direction of the Supervisor of Network & Systems Administration, the Network Support Administrator is responsible for providing second level support for (but not limited to) the network, servers and applications. The incumbent is responsible to perform all duties according to the established IT Policies & Procedures. Responsibilities - Provide second-level technical support in a timely and efficient manner. - Strong working knowledge of various Microsoft technologies ( Windows Server 2003/2008,Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Exchange Server 2003/2007, MOSS 2007, SQL Server 2005/2008, CRM). - Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP fundamentals, Network Routing/Layering, IP subnetting and hierarchical routing principles, routing protocol operation, IP filtering, firewalls, VPNs and the associated tunneling technologies. - Experience working with various network appliances; including Cisco switches, & Barracuda Network devices. - Familiar with Cisco IOS command line interface - Manage & monitor Citrix XenApp farm. - Manage and install patches on workstations and servers using automated patch management software. - Familiar with administrating, reading and monitoring logs from various network appliances and servers. - Ability to write scripts to assist with network management and to enhance enterprise security. - Good understanding of technical issues and implications to the business, and ability to communicate with other operation departments within the business. - Administer backup jobs and verify completion of scheduled jobs using Symantec BackupExec. - Monitor and manage corporate edition of Anti-virus application. - Identify new technologies and alternative systems to enhance security, reliability or customer experience. Qualifications - University Degree or College Diploma in Computer Science or Information Technology - Minimum 3 years experience providing support in a network environment - Proven organizational and time management skills - Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Ability to effectively communicate technical issues to non-technical individuals - Ability to understand and acquire new technical skills - Ability to work with tight deadlines and changing priorities - Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects - Ability to work effectively in a team setting and in a fast paced environment Candidates must have: Windows server 2003 - 2008 Active Directory Exchange Server Sharepoint Citrix XEN App Patching - Automated DNS DHCP Excellent Communication Nice to Have: Symantec - End Point Prior TD experience
