One of Canada's leading law firms is seeking a Sr. Network Analyst to join their team. Please review the position description below and forward an updated resume if you feel you are both qualified and available. If not, please forward to any suitable candidate:

 

Location: Downtown Toronto (Bay/Wellington Area)

Permanent position

The suitable candidate will need to be a team player and able to provide support outside of normal business hours (including evenings and weekends).

The salary range for this position is in the $85,000 - $95,000 range.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:

The design, implementation, patching, upgrades, monitoring and resolution of issues with critical system infrastructure which includes:

MS Active Directory;

Data Centre, physical server and storage infrastructure;

Virtualization infrastructure;

MS Windows Server;

Messaging systems including MS Exchange, Mobile Device Management solutions and Anti-spam filtering;

Data communication links for WAN and ISP;

Internetworking switches and routers; and

Security solutions including firewalls, web filtering, SIEM, cloud-based solutions and monitoring systems.

Develop and maintain documentation on system infrastructure and procedures.

Develop solutions for the Firm’s monitoring and alerting solutions to maintain the reliability of devices, applications and services.

Conduct preventative maintenance on systems, including testing and installing vendor provided upgrades, patches, etc.

Evaluate and recommend new technologies to reduce costs, increase efficiency, and/or improve security.

Support the Helpdesk to resolve escalated issues as required.

 

The successful candidate must have the following education, experience and/or demonstrated skills:

Related College Diploma or professional certification.

5 years experience designing and administering enterprise networks.

Microsoft and Cisco certifications an asset.

Law firm and multi-office experience an asset.

Extensive working knowledge of networking concepts, including LAN/WAN infrastructure and TCP/IP routing.

Strong critical thinker.

Experience with storage area networks (SAN).

Experience with remote access systems including Citrix XenApp, 2-Factor Authentication, and VPN technologies.

Excellent verbal communication skills and a demonstrated ability to create technical documentation.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.
