This is an ideal opportunity for an individual looking for a position that focuses on:
Data Centre Technician
Toronto (Downtown)
3 Months to start
Looking for a Data Centre Technician for a Data Centre llocation services provider
- Responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of the Datacenter.
- Performs or delegates all tasks associated with the installation, acceptance and maintenance of a variety of Telecommunication equipment.
- Responsibilities range from installation of cabinets, equipment, cross-connects, power circuits, performing remote hands requests, and managing vendor maintenance of all critical infrastructure equipment.
- Project installation, testing and troubleshooting of Telecommunication infrastructure components including but not limited to Ladder rack, Fibre Guide, MDF, IDF, switches, routers and related cabling.
- Candidate can be a little less senior than this describes as long as they’re solid and have the hands-on tech skills.
MUST HAVE:
- Previous (3+ years) experience as a Data Centre Technician
- Previous hands on experience with installation, troubleshooting, testing and maintenance of Telecommunications equipment
(i.e.Ladder rack, Fibre Guide, MDF, IDF, switches, routers and related cabling)
