A short description of myself is below:
I am Zalina Ismail, a Malaysian residing in Kota Bharu, Malaysia. My birthdate states that I was born on 29th October 1955 which makes me pretty ancient to my children although right now I don’t have any idea what “old” really feels like. I am a neurophysiologist with a passion for everything related to the brain-mind interface. I am also a qualified lawyer and hope to get my Masters in Medical Law sometime this year (I hope). I have five children, none of whom feel that my footsteps are hallowed enough to follow and one very tolerant husband who cannot quite understand the need to talk in doggerel and spend days thinking about a single haiku. Thank you for making me a part of this very interesting and diverse group of poets.
