Don't bite more than you can chew.
People will always hurt you,
No matter how much trust you put in them.
Don't go giving parts of yourself,
Because the world is cruel in itself.
Believe me when I say
That not all the rules obey.
Out of fear, man destroys
and acts upon cunning ploys.
How easy it is
for man to conquer what isn't really his.
After all the misfortune,
I wonder if you shall ever learn...
Do you see all that distortion?
It is giving me a heartburn.
It's not worth the price,
But it seems what you have does not suffice.
I tell you to let go the bad habits,
You say they help your social status.
What's so cool about going with the flow,
That leads you to not being able to say no?

I'm Kim, a Lebanese born in 1998. I've been a lover of reading and writing ever since I was a kid. I just graduated from school and plan on studying English in university. My grandfather was the one who encouraged me to start writing; if it weren't for him I wouldn'thave been participating in this today. As for the "accomplishments" field, I wrote the script for my school's end-of-year play which thankfully was a success. I hope to reach a bright future.
