SOUM
Truth and illusions on both my sides
On my both sides my relatives and friends
To whom I have been attached
I loved, cared and also been loved by them
In fight of truth and illusions on either sides were loved ones
I shivered and cried, let the dark rule the lights
Please but please set aside this wars demanding from both sides.. blood
When I was broken and confused with threads of attachments
You came and detached, with my sorrow SOUM.
You awaked me and taught, strength of love and peace
You awaked me as I realised the coward’s deeds
You the divine SOUM, made me realise my eternal soul
And realised me that with detachment and devotion
I do have to merge me in you SOUM
There is nothing I owe, nor I had nor will ever have
You do, I’m doer SOUM
you are creator, I’m only created by you SOUM
Oh! This war every were the innocent bodies without soul
Become my charioteer once again Oh! SOUM
You have the strength come and make us strong
strong enough to love SOUM
Come and teach once again that you are supreme
oh! Supreme SOUM
Come and detach our bodies
with all luxurious sins we do against you, oh! SOUM

My name is Mithilesh Yadav (SOUM is my pen name), writing is not only my passion but it comes to me as my way to serve the umanity, as I believe that biggest service to mankind is to awake one self and self-actualisation, thus I take my pen name as SOUM (One of the names of SUN in Indian mythology, and SUN a best example of detachment, dedication, truth, awakening, love and punctuality in nature). Besides it I love painting and a pharmacist by profession. I am privileged to share my birthday i.e 14 th of September with our national language day, born in holy city of Gorakhpur a district in devotional land, and a country of vast diversity yet united lovely peoples of INDIA.
