Dear dr Fab and all fellow poets at poets unite worldwide , I am too young to make big suggestions amongst you all seniors , but I personally feel that we as a poets hold a capability to arouse the senses of humanity , which ultimately can sought solutions for several problems the world today is facing just due to evil thoughts like greed and hate .
We recently encountered several of them like inequality, refugees and prior to that which I was unable to participate in was terrorism .
I do believe poetry is not just a hobby, or arts it can be a science to study, understand and change the thoughts , thought processes and provoke the souls , which ultimately can solve many of the problems the humanity is facing .
The mission of rescuing the humanity in free air was started as a seed by Dr Fab I personally feel it do has a potential to shoulder the responsibility we as a poets holds towards the society .
Being a Indian I also stand along the thoughts of Dr Fab that we as a whole world is a family . as we say in our language in Sanskrit " wasudeva kutumbhakam " means whole world is a family .
I think doctor Fab and team of seniors would be best decision maker , but I look a potential of us growing as an organization like UN.
In the end as I alwayas quote " we together can "
Namastey and best regards

Dear ALL,a few days ago [June 25] I got an interesting email from Ellias (see 'Ellias' at the bottom) regarding 'Poets Unite Worldwide' as an 'association'.I have my own idea about our group of poets, so I tried to explain my personal point of view (see below). But I also wanted to know what a few of our poets think about.. Shrijana and Galina wrote back to me (see their notes: Srijana's and Galina's) and also Ellias added a few lines (see 'Ellias').Now I think it's your 'turn' to let us know.. if you like..F.____________________________My answer to Ellias :Dear Ellias,
thank you for your email.
I have to admit that I was taken by surprise by your 2nd point..
You know, 'Poets Unite Worldwide' is not a formal association.. no statute, no 'governing body' or 'representatives'.. and no 'membership fee'.. 😇
It is just a free "temporary association": everybody can ask to join one (or all) of our projects (although we reserve the right to 'veto' towards those people we may consider 'not welcome' ).
Such an 'association' was born 17 months ago. It was exactly January 20, 2015 when I wrote an email to Daniel, explaining my idea of what I called "Project Ouverture" [*] . Right after, I invited a number of poets to join the first editorial project.. That 1st project produced (March '15) the book "At the Crossing of 7 Winds", by 7 authors (Daniel, Galina and Mallika were among those first 7, and Galina created the cover). We are now at the 13th step.. and the number of poets has grown since then.. We have chosen a name, "Poets Unite Worldwide", that should represent, in my mind, an invitation and an appeal (: Poets worldwide, unite!), but none of them have sort of ''obligations'' towards this 'free & open' association.
I'd say that this comes from my own 'nature': I consider myself not simply an 'Italian', but a 'Citizen of the World' -- "born in Italy by chance" -- , equal to everybody else - all human beings on planet Earth - in brotherhood. I have an independent mind and the utmost respect for the human values of 'freedom', 'justice' and.. 'privacy'. For such a reason I try to stay far from 'governmental organizations' and the like.. as well as from religious organizations (I am agnostic, but I respect all faiths and religions which abide and honor human life and freedom of conscience, in all their aspects), and from politics which is made for fighting for the 'good of a part', and not for the good of the whole of the population (trying to help those in need, first of all)..From all the above, I don't see any reason to constitute a 'formal association'. For the sake of whom..? I can't see any reason to change the spirit and nature of what we are. Can you?_________You know, 'The Ring' has a prelude (with 4 scenes) and 3 'epic dramas' (each of them in 3 acts, plus a number of 'scenes').. so you see that I had in mind a good number of 'projects', for a quite large 'poetic orchestra' 😇, using a range of "instruments" to express our poetic emotions and also events of the 'world'.. "At the Crossing of 7 Winds" was the 'ouverture'.. Now we have just started writing the 12th and 13th Movement ('Traditional Haiku' and 'Poetry Any Style').. And the 14th (in August) will be 'Traditional Tanka'.. the 'epic' continues. .😉😇
[*] -- I used that term, since I had in mind 'The Ring' ['der Ring des Nibelungen' - both Daniel and I love Wagner], with a number of 'dramas' played by a hundred of poets 🙂
"magno labore itur ad astra".. 👍____________________________
2016-06-27 Ellias Aghili :
well, what i meant in my previous email was that we can introduce our group to anyone that we know in our country , neighborhood , universities and etc, so the roots of our actions will be stronger and the network can grow more and more for a more powerful international effect! and that's what we do.____________________________
To the 2nd email by Ellias (above), I ANSWERED THAT IT'S A VERY GOOD IDEA
["that's absolutely ok"]

POETS UNITE WORLDWIDE
Our Group of Poets
'Poets Unite Worldwide' represents, in my mind, an invitation and an appeal (: Poets worldwide, unite!), and it is more an open group of poets, an ‘independent community’, than a formal association —but still an ‘Association’ of one hundred and eighteen (at the moment) free minds and spirits.
I'd say that this comes, first, from my own 'nature': I consider myself not just an 'Italian', but a 'Citizen of the World' — "born in Italy by chance" —, equal to everybody else: all human beings on planet Earth, in brotherhood. I have an independent mind and the utmost respect for the human values of 'freedom', 'justice', 'privacy'.. and I dislike almost all kind of ‘formalities’: for such reason I stay away from anything that sounds 'bureaucratic'.
Although living in different countries and continents, we all feel a kinship, being part of this poetic drive for worldwide peace and brotherhood. In such a way, we work together for the highest purposes, as all mankind should do.
I can say that 'Poets Unite Worldwide' was born, in its extended form, in the Autumn of 2015, when I invited tens and tens of poets, worldwide, to join me in writing a poetry compilation on (against) terror, in response to the bloody Paris events of November 13, 2015.
I felt the urge, that time, to began working on a new ebook, 'Poetry Against Terror', and I enlisted ‘my’ community of poets worldwide to help, since I wanted it to become a large collective work: the voice of poets from many different countries, worldwide, who stand up and speak aloud, but without hatred, against the bloody madness of terror.
Astonishingly, 64 Poets from 43 countries lent their pens in the effort, and I wrote, in the introductory note to the book, “we—poets of the world—wish to make our voices resonate in the minds and hearts of all women and men who refuse to be silenced by hate and violence.”
Pamela Sinicrope and Daniel Brick, both of Minnesota, USA, along with Richard Thézé, England, co-edited the collection of diverse poems about terrorism —in Paris and around the world. Cover art was by Galina Italianskaya, Russia.
The project came together quickly, with poets coming from 43 countries, in all continents, including Arab/Islamic countries: Australia, Bangladesh, Botswana, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Croatia, Egypt, France, Germany, Ghana, Greece, India, Indonesia, Iran, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Kenya, Morocco, New Zealand , Nepal, Nigeria, Oman, Pakistan, Philippines, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Somalia, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, Uganda, United Kingdom, USA, Zimbabwe.
Poem topics range from a focus on the liberty of France, to the musings of a mother who does not want her child suffering from terrorism, to a young woman who incessantly searches Google for the answers to the terrorism problem, to the story of African villagers who drink from a cow’s horn under a peaceful moon until terrorism takes over. Many of the poets have experienced terrorism first-hand, and this witness is expressed in their writings and their biographies. As Pamela Sinicrope said, “We’ve all been touched by terrorism. For some, the topic hit home after the events in Paris, but for others, terrorism has been a disturbing part of everyday life —these facts are borne out in the poems. The poems speak for themselves”.
The ebook 'Poetry Against Terror' is now available as a free download on Smashwords.com at https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/628178
Yet, as a group of poets collaborating together on a variety of projects, we didn’t stop with that first book.
We do have a blog, that Udaya Tennakon created, as well as a Fb page (see below). Since then, we've been continually publishing and growing, and –hopefully– improving as writers.
A few months ago we published the ebook 'Poets Against Inequality', to add our voice to those other unequivocal voices that denounce an absolute lack of equality in our society. The poems collected in this book (as well as the previous one) belong in what is called "Poetry of Witness", and we believe that this is a task that all of us, as poets, have a moral obligation to pursue, because we can't accept to live in a world where extreme poverty is so widespread and sheer inequality is the norm.
Also 'Poets Against Inequality' is available as a free download on Smashwords, at

Another project accomplished is a book on the Refugees theme. In March 2016, while looking at an image taken on the border between Greece and Macedonia, I felt the urge to write a poem. From that urge, also a new editorial project was born: the book 'By Land & By Seas', by 'Poets Unite Worldwide', will be on free download next October (2016). And surely, thanking the enthusiasm and energy of many in our group, new projects will follow. Our mission keeps on.
