Hi Everyone,

this weekend is the 6th Annual LUNGS Harvest Arts Festival taking place across many of the East Village and Lower East Side Community Gardens. More than 100 events are scheduled including music, poetry, screenings, dance, children's activities, food tastings, etc.

6BC is hosting programs both today and tomorrow.

SATURDAY SEPT. 20

2-4pm Poetry reading featuring: Sparrow, Sylvia Gorelick, Mary Reilly, Dan Schwartz, The mostly famous band “Peg” with Rachel Swaner and Sparrowopolous, Eve Packer, Suzanne Goldenberg, Sarah Wang and Myk Freedman

5-7 pm Music: 5pm The Martonians, sweet bossa nova sounds 6pm Music Val Kinzler is inspired by our everyday struggles: survival, love, loss and those magical moments when everything seems to come together,

SUNDAY SEPT. 24

2-4pm Poetry Reading: The Unbearables: Tsaurah Litzky, Steve Dalachinsky, Yuko Otomo, Carl Watson, Bonny Finberg, Ron Kolm, Jill Rapaport. Shalom Neuman, Eve Packer and Jim Feast

FYI/ Check out our own garden member Parker Pracjek's website. Parker is in her final year of homeopathy school and runs a small batch apothecary. You can purchase her beautiful products below. Most of her ingredients are collected locally and are fresh this season.

Hello All,

Is there anyway to turn down the amp? Super loud for the buildings around the garden .

In the past, we did not have amplified events , the space does not required it and is disruptive to the area .
