I'm in my 8th decade now. The last year has largely been spent undergoing medical torture but I have come through and hope to begin regaining my strength and flexibility as soon as the last bandage comes off my body in a few days. However, my children and my better angel tell me it is time to start letting go and down sizing. Last year we sold our Bilenky touring tandem and I truly hope the young couple who bought it are still going in the same direction!
I'm not ready to let go of either my 650 B Saluki nor my Rambouillet but will now sell my travel bike. This '84 Trek, my first "good" bike will go to a new home, before me!.
The frame is 57 X 60. This bike rides very much like my 62cm Ramboulliet. It has been converted to 650 ( by Bilinkey who added couplers & powder coated) and fits a 38mm tire easily. The handling is a bit more neutral than the Ram but it's just as responsive.
I'm selling this with a lot of hi end Nitto, Silver, & Paul parts, but w/out a wheel set. I'll keep those as back ups for the Saluki and my wife's RBW Betty.
