Some kind of hoarding impulse must have taken over me, as I bought more of these than I needed.

These are 60 tpi folding tires and pretty lightweight for what they are.  The two that I weighed were 412 and 423 grams.  Mounted they seem to measure a true 41mm and the wheel diameter came out to 673 mm, 5 or 6 mm more than my other "38 mm" tires.  I was able to mount them tubeless successfully.  Mounting with a tube overnight made it easier (recommended).

I think it is good, solid tire.  It doesn't have the same nuanced ride qualities of some of our other 650b tires, but it costs much less, too.  I think it would make a good winter tire, if you don't need or want studs.  It would make a good all season tire, too, as the knob pattern makes it pretty swift on the pavement.  Also, I would expect their longevity to be good based on reviews of Knard tires in other sizes.

Would like to get $40 per tire plus shipping.  PM me if interested.

Bumping this thread, was about to post a new Knard subject but remembered it was here.

Another plug for these tires, I really like them!  They are saving my urban winter commute, enough knob to go confidently through the slush but also keep a grip on the road when I need to take a lane and keep up with traffic (the bike lanes are mostly unplowed or plowed over).  And I was pleasantly surprised to find they fit under the fenders on my conversion.

So yeah someone buy this guy’s Knards.

(here are the Knards on my Nishiki International, parked behind my place of work)
