I was in the process of building this up as a grocery/"around the block" bike when I came across a Riv that I could not pass up.
The plan was to use a Veloce 10 group with Paul Thumbies.
Due to the limited availability of (affordable) Campagnolo disc hubs, I settled on Bitex CL 100/135 laced to Velocity A23 700c non-machined rims as seen in the picture. I got both, Campagnolo and Shimano FHs for the hub.
HS is a Cane Creek S8 and for the brakes, I got a set of TRP HyRoads from another forumite.
Everything is brand new.
I am fairly open to different package deals, e.g.
f/f/h only - $600
f/f/h + wheelset with tires - $950
f/f/h + wheelset wth tires + TRP HyRoad calipers - $1,150
All prices are OBO.
Let's talk if you are interested in the groupset or any of the other parts shown in the picture as well.
Info on the frame is on Soma's WS.
FYI: It's my understanding that the '22 model is mostly identical but it only comes in teal.
So if white is your color...
For what it's worth: I initially had hesitations about getting a mixte.
All I can tell you is that not having to jump into biking gear but simply hopping on my Riv in shorts and with a helmet has added a lot of relaxing albeit slower riding time for me
PM me with any questions or for more pics.
