I'm looking for a rando bag with a rider-facing opening. Would love to find a ruthworks or swift ozette/peregrine bag (the shorter versions) but know they are rarities. Also like the acorn medium size rando bag. Anyone have one you're looking to sell? Open to other options.

In my various acquisitions and purges, I've ended up with two extra Loyal Designs randonneur handlebar bags.  Both are ~10-1/2" wide, 6-1/2" deep and 8-1/4" tall.  Both are the traditional "berthoud style", heavy canvas and leather.  Loyal Designs is Phil W. here in the East Bay.

I have two.  One is grey and has never been set up with a decaleur.  The other is blue and is currently set up with a Berthoud decaleur receiver, which I could remove or include depending on your needs.  I've used the blue one over ~3000 miles of riding.  Since everything second-hand should be half-retail, and since retail is around $350 for a bag of this style, I'd sell either one for $175 + shipping.  I would prefer not to sell both.  Let me know if there's interest and I can send photos.

Shopping around, Ben's is selling the Berthoud GB25 for only $220 with a free rain cover.  That's a really nice deal, IMO.

I think both Berthoud and TA copied the bags made by Sologne, just for reference.  A tried and true design.

The Berthoud bags are more of a continuation than a copy. Gilles Berthoud he purchased the Solonge company and its designs a few years after starting his bike shop.

As Bill said, Ben's Cyclery has a good deal....and I could also apply the 10 percent discount, bringing the black version of the GB 25 under $200 with free shipping.
