Hi folks,

I've recently retired from a career in semiconductor as a mechanical/systems engineer. I've been doing 650b conversions, custom decaleurs, racks and frame repairs out of my Portland atelier over the past decade on a part time basis, now available for faster turnaround than in the past.

My flickr album has much of my past work. I've noticed that many of this forums members are customers of mine!

Congratulations Mark.  I am happy to know that you will carry on with your great bicycle services.  You remain a valuable resource for this really fun sector of the bike world...

As a satisfied customer, I can report that  Mark is talented, open, communicative, insightful and has a great sense of humor - he’s good people, as they say where I come from.

Highly recommended, and if you can swing it, a visit to Atelier Gugie is always a treat.

So if I want to get another one of your great decaleurforks to fit the V-O bag part, what do I do?

Hi Brad and all,

No web form, just emails and/or phone calls if you'd like. I can usually work off a picture like this for measurements.

48817790796_2e57c44d27_b.jpg

I can now do them to fit 22.2 quill stems, 1" and 1-1/8" threadless. I've done cable stops and bell attachments as well.

I've done several different designs, and over 130 custom decaleurs to date. My Flickr album shows many of them.

Happy retirement, Mark! It's been years but I should think more seriously about becoming a customer.

Hey Mark. I'm also in Portland and I'm starting a conversion on a trek 620 soon. Do you have a pricing bracket for basic services yet (ie canti bosses, rack mounts etc). I think I might be needing some work done! Thanks
Nate
