I'd like to know where you are located, that you can go to a custom builder and get a custom frame for $800.
Here's pricing from Waterford:

$3350. Without researching a bunch of others, I'd venture to
say that right now those are probably typical prices.
yes the tubing seems decent, indeed. i also like the rear dropout spacing (132.5mm). hopefully the msrp isn't ridiculous, in my current area. a crust lightning bolt has a markup of over 500$ usd, here... which is kind of ridiculous, now that i think about it. i could actually just go to a custom builder and get something there that would cost probably just a couple hundred more...
