Sorry if you saw on BOB list, cross posting here as it is indeed 650b (slightly more unusual 26"-650b conversion!):
One of my favorite build projects and a very fun bike to ride but I need to make some room (as they say). Some parts of this bike are a bit redundant with others which have for whatever left me riding this one less and less despite it being a much better bike--with nicer parts. Overall, everything is in really good condition and not heavy used.
Makes a great adventure rider: trails, gravel, bikepack, camping, tourer, around towner, etc.
It's more unique than the last complete I tried to sell here which makes me think it's probably destined to get parted out as well but here it goes:
Frame/fork: 1989 Trek 950 18". True Temper 4130 chromo double butted tubes. Powder coated in a Curry color (RAL 1027). Small scrape from chain suck (old RD, new one much better!) otherwise pretty minty
Wheelset: Velocity Cliffhanger rims to Deore XT hubs. 650B! Frame is designed for 26" but is very awesome on 650b wheels!
Tires: WTB Senderos 650bx47mm. Tan sidewalls, currently set up tubeless. Underrated tire!
Crankset: Specialized Flag triple. Cold forged, classic goodness.
Cassette: Shimano 11-34
Shifters: Dia Compe Ene Cilco Bar Ends Silver
Front Derailleur: Shimano Deore LX
Rear Derailleur: Shimano Deore M592 black
Handlebar: Crust Nullabar 26.0 clamp 48cm width Silver
Stem: Nitto Technomic (short length, like 50 or 60mm) Silver
Brake levers: Tektro RL520 (road levers that pull v-brakes) black hoods/silver levers
Brakes: ProMax P-1 linear pull 108mm size Silver. Super awesome for 26"-650b!
Seatpost: Nitto Crystal Fellow 26.8. Silver (again, best named bicycle part ever)
Cables/housing: Jagwire. Nice/clean/newer
Think I'll keep pedals (FUNN Mambas black) and saddle (old Avocet O2).
Here's a flickr album featuring pics of the bike. Unfortunately, the only picture with all the current parts is one with me standing on it (not even driveside!):
Only one of current build:
I'd like to sell it complete for $750. Split shipping via Bikeflights or Pirateship.
Please reach out with questions or additional photo requests!
If no one is interested in complete build here (or elsewhere, should I try there) I'll probably begin to part it out before I ride it again and keep it forever...
Thanks!
