Pics of 650b fun in Japan

I just returned from a month-long trip to Japan to visit family (my wife is from Shiga Prefecture just north of Kyoto) and friends. 

You might enjoy these pics of some of my biking adventures which were mostly on or with 650b bikes, including mine which is a custom-made 1986 Gita road bike (small builder in Tokyo) that I converted to 650b.

I don't think that's the case at all, Tim. Personally , it's difficult for me to view your pictures in a meaningful way because they are on Facebook and I am not a user! 

What I could see looks very neat. Maybe some backstory would be of interest to people.

Ah, got it. If you don't have a FB account then I can't help with that. I suppose I could upload them elsewhere and provide caption info. on all of the pics but I'll have to wait til I retire to have that kind of time.

If you have an ad-blocker like uBlock Origin installed in your browser
you can get rid of the annoying login overlay and keep browsing. At
least that's what I did.

Magnificent photos. I love the socks the two Japanese gents are wearing and the fabulous Citroen and Renault cars you found. I can't imagine driving a chrome Caterham 7 on a sunny day (what were they thinking?)! My friend is currently cycle touring Japan, camping all the way. He's somewhere near Hokkaido at the moment, and also has some amazing photos and tales of 20% climbs as well.

Stay safe and update us again! Also, if you are on the iBob Google Group, they'd love this over there.
