Hi all: Any commentary re: whether Blunts are fine or too wide (35mm) to run with 42mm tires e.g. Hetres (in terms of affecting tire profile)?  Thanks!

Blunt/P35 + Hetre is fine; it is far better suited for that tire width than narrower rims.

Photo: Day one for the Fizik Kurve Chameleon. Also recently installed VO Grand Cru long setback seatpost. The Kurve saddle edges were too hard, great shock absorption though; another 90 mile and gone saddle. The VO seatpost clamps were too narrow.

Should be all good. I'm running Blunt SS (26mm internal, 30mm external) with 1.75" Pari Motos. Your Hetres will come out closer to 45-46mm if that's a concern.

What are your '1.75' PM's running on those rims? Mine measure pretty much right on 40 on A23's.

Wow that's significant, the velocity cliffhanger has a similar internal width of about 25mm I think. Anyone experiencing similar tire 'growth'on those rims?!?

For edification, I'm running those Pari Motos tubeless, but tubes or not the wider the rim, the wider the tire will be.

Curious, what bike is that? Looks nice.

That is a first generation Traitor, kind of a 700C disk cyclocross bike.  They were blowing them out in a lot of deals, for a while I saw tons of them around Seattle (and I helped a friend modify one with a lot of new brazeons).

Ah yes, I've seen newer ones at REI. Looks like a good 650B conversion candidate.
