I got some new Pacenti Brevet rims and it appears the erd is the same as the old PL23s at 574mm. I have used 278/280mm spokes in the rear on an Ultegra hub and 278mm on a SON Deluxe in the front, both 32h, in the past with PL23s. I'm assuming the spoke length is the same with Brevets? I'm somewhat surprised as I thought the more rounded profile of the Brevets and a thicker spokes bed would equal a slightly smaller erd and shorter spokes. Can anyone confirm?

I have no direct experience, but I am going to be building up wheels using the Brevets and SONDeluxe widebody and note that Compass sells spoke sets in 278 for that combo, so sounds right to me.

I googled ERD on the PL23s yesterday as I'm thinking of swapping the front hub and would like to re-use the CX-Rays since theyre now $5-6AUD per spoke(!); it was 273mm, so close enough.

The deeper well on the Brevet must all be due to changes in the inner wall shaping.

Sigh. Of course what I meant was 573mm, not 273mm, so 1mm difference...

Yes, the ERD is 574mm.

It's important to not that this dimension includes the thickness of the nipple head.

As always, measure the rim before cutting spokes. Different spoke companies measure spokes diferenlty and some nipple heads are thicker/thinner than others.

I recently built my front wheel with Pacenti Brevet 650B and the SON Deluxe SL 32h.
And yes the correct spoke length is 278mm.
Good that Kirk confirmed that the datasheet ERD is 574mm including the nipple head.
I measured it to be 572mm without the nipple head. That somehow explains the difference.
Good choice for hub and rim.
