For sale is a 57.75cm c-c Mike Melton road/touring bike. This is a handmade frame that is from the 70s (I don’t know the exact year but it’s definitely before 1980) that was originally made in Ohio. The components are a mixture of mostly Campagnolo, with a few Shimano components thrown in. The hubs are Record, Cranks are the Campy GS triple, Rear derailleur is a shimano crane GS, Campy Brev headset, Brev. Inter. Brake calipers, Campy seat post, shimano stem, cinelli bars, and campy down tube shifters. Wheels are 27x1-1/4 and have minimal wear. Tubing is Reynolds 531 butted tubing. Bike has recently been tuned up so cables and housings are new, tires are new, and I think the wheels were re-spoked (but not 100% on that).

I included pictures of this bike with 650s on it  the tires are 650x38, so the clearance is a little tight but still manageable

I am regrettably selling this bike because it is a little too big for me, and because I simply don’t have the room for it. I am willing to ship it at the buyer’s expense. I am a bike shop employee so I will pack it professionally and ship with bike flights within the CONUS.  (Listing is marked as “local pickup only” but I don’t want to go through the trouble to give a potentially wrong shipping estimate and have you or myself ripped off. Bike Flights is much more reliable and more affordable. I’ve also used them many times in the past).

Price: $750 OBO. Seriously, give me an offer, all offers will at least be countered

For those of you who may not know who Mike Melton is, you can read more about him here: http://www.classicrendezvous.com/USA/Melton_Mike.htm

This bike has been posted in a few other places.
