Trying to tweak the M12 rack I just picked up to fit my 650B Custom.... Can't seem to get the rack close enough to the tire and keep it flat. I'm using Paul Touring canti's which have a special bolt to allow mounting of front racks. The Paul's bolt moves the rack mounts a little further out. Any suggestions or certain sequence? I'm about ready to order the M13 from Compass Cycles.~mike

Put a spacer between the rack and the fork crown that moves that mount out by the same amount as the Paul bolt. That is probably about 5mm.
The M12 won't get the rack that close to the tire on most bikes. It is designed to work on as many bikes as possible, not to sit as low as possible. It sits at a safe height on most bicycles.
