Franklin 650B Demontable Separating Frame Project

Hey 650Bers--

I thought you all would enjoy this.  My latest project is a frame Jack Trumbull at Franklin Frames did for me.  It has some early Rivendell lugs, Ritchey style breakaway frame, Rohloff hub with Paragon sliding dropouts and shifter on the steering column.  Sort of a Riv-Ritchey-Rohloff-Rando-Rinko.

Wow! That is really nice!

Not as pretty, but I have a Jeff Lyon with the ritchey breakaway setup I got from a fellow list member last year.

Looks fantastic! Another Rohloff rando rider here. How do you like the stem shifter arrangement? What crank and ring are you running?

Stem shifter works with either hand, and is great on the road.  Off road, you have to plan your shifts more.  I'm trying to remember the chainring cog combo.  I'm pretty sure it's a 40 tooth grand bois cinque feuille narrowide chainring bolted to a Sun XCD and the rear I think is a 16.  I could use an 18--I was needing help with some of the hills!  I'll check when I get home from work.
