PSA: Stronglight A9 1" threaded roller / needle bearing headsets are still available

I just called to order one and they were kind enough to open it up and confirm that it is the needle / roller bearing version with the cylindrical bearings in the plastic keeper, not the version with ball bearings. (They also have the cartridge bearing version if you're in to that, but the bearings in the cartridge are almost certainly spherical, and not useful for my low-trail purposes.)

News to me, at least! I love this headset and am happy to have a spare on the way. Now I can stop hunting (and over-paying) for vintage ones! I think my last two cost over $90, and Peter has 'em for $60. Credit to Lum Gim Fong on the RBW list for pointing it out.
