Selling a Soma Champs Elysees 1" threadless fork (700c 57mm road caliper style) and front rack. Prefer to sell together as they go together. More general info at the links below. For 650B, front fork worked well with the Dia Compe 750 shown, with pads near bottom of slots (brake is a little extra if you want it). Price for fork and rack is $160 plus shipping (USPS or UPS via pirateship). Since the rack and fork are sort of opposite objects in terms of packaging, it might end up best in two boxes. I'm in south metro Denver if you're local and want to come check it out.
Plot twist: I'm just here to have fun and view this as basically a sunk cost. The price is a donation to a worthy charity of your choice (I can suggest a few). Send me a receipt to confirm. Shipping is reimbursed to me. I did the same on BikeForums this last winter if any are regulars over there.
Throwing in the Miche needle bearing headset with the fork for free, there's a ding on it, should be visible on photos but didn't know it was there until I removed it, because of the needle bearings I don't think it affects operation. The crown race is probably hard to remove, it was hard to get on!
Chrome on the fork is in good shape, there's probably some scuffs but I didn't see anything bad and only wiped it down, didn't thoroughly clean. Rack also looks really good, a little glue residue from the helicopter tape I used to secure wires. My measurement of axle to crown on the fork is about 380mm which appears to match Soma (or fork length on axis if you prefer that term). I measure about 270mm of steerer, happy to remeasure if your setup is close.
Some optional extras (seen in photos on the built up bike):
Gugie-made decaleur - setup fit with a Velo Orange Rando bag and 110mm stem - $60
Velo Orange tall stack stem with 1" shims 110mm, 31.8 clamp - $20
Velo Orange Nouveau Randonneur handlebar 44cm - $30
Dia Compe 750 front brake - $20
If you want all the extras let's call it $100
Questions encouraged if you have any!
