Gorgeous like new Waxwing Bag Company front handlebar bag made in black Xpac with khaki stripe, honey leather, sage green cords, and brass hardware.  Also includes ABS internal stiffener.  Size small is 10" wide x 6" deep x 8" tall.  This was only used a few times, but it does have a hole punch from where I mounted  a Rene Herse decaleur bar and in the bottom where I installed RaClips.  Only the bag is for sale and does not include the decaleur or Raclips.

Only selling because it is too short for my Decaleur and I need to get the Medium size.

Paid about $330 new.  Asking $200 plus shipping.  Happy to email pics since it doesn't appear I can attach them to the post?

Best,
Chris

Hi Chris,

Your situation is why I invented the Dock-It Decaleur. Why buy a bag that isn't your first choice just to accommodate a decaleur? Instead, get a bag that suits your needs, and support it with a decaleur designed to work with any bag-to-bike configuration that you might have.

Waxwing Bag Co handles the retail sales of the Dock-It system kits and components. Dave can provide the stuff that you need, at a cost that's comparable to the $$ hit that you are taking by selling your bag.

From your photo, your bag appears to be pretty close to the bar, so you probably could buy just the Dock-It core kit and come up with a minimalist stem-mounted mount in lieu of the Dock-It system's strut kit. Customers have come up with some really neat ways to install the device in tight quarters, so check out the gallery on the Waxwing Bag Co website, or talk to Dave about your arrangement.

Maybe you have discussed this with Dave. If you simply don't like the un-traditional look of the Dock-It decaleur, that's fine. Or if you feel like this would be more DIY than you are comfortable with, then I understand. No doubt you'll get it right with a taller version of that great looking bag, but it's a shame to have to discount this bag so much.

Cheers,
Tom Matchak
