Hello Dr. Rajih and colleagues,

I hope you will find this page useful, and if you have any new
discoveries regarding skype please don't hesitate to post them. First
of all I want to thank Jehan for her brilliant discovery. Thank you so
much, you are such a great partner ;) For now, I would like you all to
download the latest version of skype that is 4.1 for windows operating
system and 2.8 for mac from the following site so we can share our
screens when we are online:

http://www.skype.com/download/skype/macosx/

To share your screen with your online buddy, right click on the
nickname then one click on "Share Your Screen" that's all for now, if
you have questions feel free to ask me or Jehan.

All the best.

Dear Sumayyah
Thanks for starting this page and i hope we all benefit from it.
Jehan's idea of screen sharing is really important. Maybe in the
future, we will do the presentations from home. and then we do not
have to go to the university to attend the class. We will have the
class online. By the way, I want to know if there is a manual for
Skype which we can buy from bookstores. I still believe in using books
to practice my PC stuff. And does any one know if there is a manual
for Windows 2007 at bookstores? Thanks again for this page.I am happy
with Skype but i am also considering a room in Palltalk. How is that
different? Thanks again

Dear Dr.Rajih,

Hope you are doing fine with your new laptop.. As for the laptop's
manual, I guess you get it along with your new device, the quick
starting manual or something. But skype.. I don't think that skype has
a manual and I believe you are doing very good with skype, you don't
even need me to figure out how to use is it.
Regrding the Paltalk, I can't say anything to you at the moment cos I
am not familiar with this software. So, if you have any information
about it, don't hesitate to share it with me, I don't mind having u as
my techincal advisor too :D

Wishing you a happy vacation. And see you on wednesday inshAllah :)

Dear Sumayyah
Thanks 4 the response. I am talking about  a manual for windows 7 not for the laptop. you always encourage me but i like to read and explore more and practice more with a manual. I will see about the paltalk and let you know. Skype is fine for now. See u on Wednesday. Thanks

Hello everyone,

thanks Sumaiyah for this page and as you said: everyone (especially
mac people) feel free to ask me anything.

For you Dr. Rajih, there are manuals for skype on amazon but they are
all old editions and you won't find the new features in them, so I
recommend that u read the help section on skype website, they have a
user guide there which must be up to date. here is the link:

http://www.skype.com/help/guides/

For windows 7, though I'm no longer one of Microsoft fangirls (thank
you very much windows vista), I like to keep updated on their new
stuff and I have to admit 7 has some nice features. Anyways, it's been
officially released recently so there aren't many books on it but I
found two manuals on amazon that might be helpful:
1 . Windows 7 Secrets
2. Windows 7 For Dummies

and there is a free e-guide from Microsoft:

happy vacation for everyone and see you insha Allah on Wednesday.
